SPnetFibra operates as a regional ISP and Transit Provider (Upstream) for multiple downstream ASNs. Our network core is located 231 km away from the nearest public internet exchange (IX.br São Paulo), making local edge caching essential for latency optimization. We maintain an open peering policy for direct PNI but do not participate in public IXPs due to transport backhaul constraints. Total aggregated traffic is within the 50-100 Gbps range.
